You Are, We Became is a series of seven in which the artist reidentifies herself by stepping away from traditional shapes. By working with circles the frame makes place for a fluid canvas, eliminating boundaries. By doing so not only her work method embodies round and fluid shapes, but the actual physical canvas also does.
As we are all built from the same blueprint, the colour blue has naturally become thé central colour in this series.
